Winter has arrived, and you keep getting sick and catching colds, which is starting to become a nuisance. So you adopt several old wives' remedies to treat your nose before everything goes down into your bronchial tubes: drinking water, making herbal teas, eating hot soups, and getting plenty of sleep. But sometimes that's not enough.

Saro or eucalyptus essential oils, thyme and sage herbal teas... Discover all the natural remedies for effectively treating colds!

1st remedy: Saro essential oils

Saro essential oils are known for their natural medicinal properties. Saro oils are antiviral and antibacterial. They also strengthen and boost your immune system. They are therefore ideal for use in cases of colds, particularly bronchitis, flu, and other similar illnesses.

Simply pour a few drops onto a tissue and inhale.

2nd remedy: Eucalyptus and Ravintsara essential oils

Another effective remedy for relieving your cold is the use of eucalyptus and ravintsara essential oils.

These essential oils are powerful expectorants that help prevent viral infections and clear the airways to quickly cure colds.

Santarome Bio has developed Respi’Rub Flash Bio for you. Made from marshmallow, propolis, and mullein, and primarily eucalyptus and ravintsara oils, Respi’Rub Flash Bio is the product to choose for its anti-cold and antibacterial properties.

3rd remedy: Thyme and agrimony herbal teas

An effective and timeless old-fashioned remedy, thyme and agrimony herbal teas instantly relieve and soothe cold and throat problems.

Thyme and agrimony have properties that reduce and destroy bacteria. In addition, thyme invigorates the body and treats fatigue. It also has benefits for the digestive system.

When mixed with water, thyme is a natural remedy that heals you without you even realizing it.

4th remedy: Honey and lemon

It is well known that honey and lemon are natural foods that can help treat colds and flu-like symptoms.

Honey and lemon have antibacterial and antioxidant properties that can quickly relieve your cold symptoms. Honey soothes throat irritation and inflammation, while the nectar in honey helps relieve coughs.

Thyme honey is particularly effective for treating colds.

The combination of lemon and honey helps fight inflammation and reduce infection. Lemon is rich in vitamins, particularly vitamin C.

Mix honey and lemon in hot water to effectively treat colds and sore throats. Santarome also recommends drinking a shot of lemon, honey, and olive oil in the morning!

5th remedy: sulfur

Sulfur is often recommended by ENT specialists for colds. It acts on the nasal mucosa and helps people who are prone to colds prepare for the arrival of winter. A sulfur treatment can actively relieve cold symptoms.

6th remedy: echinacea

If you have obvious cold symptoms, echinacea is a type of plant that acts on colds. It helps reduce the duration of colds, alleviates sore throats, and increases physical performance. Echinacea targets the respiratory tract to provide relief.
