Honey

Origin and history

Honey is an age-old natural product, made by bees from flower nectar. Considered a sacred food for millennia, it is mentioned in the oldest civilizations: in Egypt, Greece, and India, it symbolized purity, longevity, and health. The Egyptians used it to embalm bodies, while the Greeks considered it "the food of the gods." Even today, honey is prized as much for its unique sweet taste as for its countless health benefits.
