Honey

Origin and history

Honey is an ancient natural product, made by bees from flower nectar. Considered a sacred food for thousands of years, it is mentioned in the most ancient civilizations: in Egypt, Greece, and India, it symbolized purity, longevity, and health. The Egyptians used it to embalm bodies, while the Greeks considered it "the food of the gods." Even today, honey is appreciated as much for its unique sweet taste as for its countless health benefits.
