Origin and history
Grape seeds come from cultivated vines (Vitis vinifera), a plant emblematic of the Mediterranean basin. Used since ancient times for the production of wine and oil, grapes were also recognized for their medicinal properties. It was not until the 20th century that the exceptional richness of its seeds in natural antioxidants, particularly polyphenols and OPCs (procyanidolic oligomers), was discovered. These compounds make it an ally of choice for beauty, youthfulness, and vitality.
