Origin and history
Wild pansy, also known as Trinity herb , is a small wildflower known since the Middle Ages for its purifying and soothing properties. It owes its name to its delicate, three-colored shape, a spiritual symbol of the Trinity for ancient herbalists. Used for centuries in European traditions, it was renowned for brightening the complexion and soothing skin irritations. Even today, wild pansy remains a staple in herbal medicine for skin health and digestive comfort.
