raspberry bush

The raspberry is a shrub with long, flexible stems. From the Rosaceae family, it belongs to the bramble genus. It probably originated in Asia Minor, but is now found throughout the Northern Hemisphere. Its leaves, harvested at the beginning of summer, have been used since Antiquity as an astringent and can be used in herbal tea. Raspberries, for their part, are harvested from June to September.
